CDE and Austin Peay State University have co-sponsored the science fair each year since it began in 1993. The science fair is a challenging and rewarding activity for students in grades K-5 studying the scientific method to answer a question they may have about the world around them. This allows the students a way to use their creative imagination and encourages enthusiasm and excitement for Science. Students spend countless hours experimenting and creating their projects to showcase to the community. This year, more than 400 projects were entered in the science fair.
