CDE Opens New Customer Care Centers|
CLARKSVILLE, TN (June 17, 2011) – Clarksville Department of Electricity has upgraded the location on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard to offer better and faster customer service and a safer environment for employees.

Milam Contractors spent the last few months on a construction project to upgrade our front lobby and utilize unused space. Our customers now have an entire area of the building dedicated to bill payments only. This Payment Center will alleviate long wait times for people with busy schedules and no time to waste. We also upgraded our teller area with innovative security measures to offer a safer environment for our employees.
Another area of our facility, the Customer Care Center, is now dedicated to customers who visit our office to connect new service, add services, or ask questions. This allows our customer service representatives to give people more one-on-one time to better serve them. We have also implemented a Q-Matic system in the Customer Care area. This electronic system allows customers to take a number and watch for their number to be displayed on a screen in the lobby. This number will be assigned to an available window. This automated system will help streamline to wait and response.
CDE feels certain the next time a customer needs to visit our office they will enjoy their experience with a very welcoming environment, streamlined customer service and speedier transaction.
