Since 1998, CDE has billed and collected the landfill user fee on behalf of Bi-County SWMS. Effective July 1, 2015 CDE will no longer bill landfill user fees and Bi-County SWMS will assume this responsibility. CDE customers can expect their first bill directly from Bi-County SWMS during the month of August.
Any landfill payments made to CDE after July 27, 2015 will be posted to customer electric accounts as credits.
